The man behind Khalsa Studio is Sevak S. Khalsa. Sevak is a native resident of Phoenix, living with his wife and two daughters. As a self-taught artist working in glass, metals and wood for the last eighteen years, his works can be found in some of the finest collection and residential settings in the country. He is a twenty five year practitioner and instructor of yoga and meditation and is a sought-after lecturer and facilitator. Artists Statement "It is my belief that all life is comprised of remembered, current, and projected experience. We live in the current with varying degrees of past and projected future influencing the tenor and timing of our interactive communications or life experience. The placement of artworks in key living spaces enables us to influence and elevate the quality of personal, as well as interpersonal living.The effective use of environmental sculptures, both functional and purely aesthetic, is an artform in itself. Those who endeavor to practice this artform, I believe, become more sensitive, aware, and ultimately fulfilled in their lives.
